I did purchase the software yesterday. I will hopefully have answers for you once I attempt one this week. I thought this type of feature would fit nicely into SculptOK’s wheelhouse.
The quick answer to your question is the colors are loaded into the program then it produces a list of colors in layers needed and the order. no bumps.
I have never seen anything like this and it looks interesting. Curious how it can work.
